Ditch Cleaning

For the first part of this week, students from Grade 6 to 9, along with several community volunteers, worked hard cleaning highway ditches around Pierceland. We managed to finish a day ahead of schedule thanks to their efforts. A special thank you to Mrs. Sonntag for organizing everything at this especially busy time of year. We appreciate all the help we received for this fundraiser. Monies from this event will be used to subsidize the Grade 6 to 9 year-end trip to Moose Jaw.

Interviews and Book Fair

Next week Elementary Report Cards and High School Progress Reports will be coming out. Report Cards need to be picked up at the office (starting Monday) but Progress Reports will be sent home with students. Interviews take place on Tuesday, March 12 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and on Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Our Scholastic Book Fair will also be open to the public during those hours. Students will get more opportunities during the day to preview and purchase books. There will be a $50 Family Event Door Prize ($25 worth of product for the winning student & $25 worth for their classroom teacher). Also, anyone spending $25 or more at the Book Fair will receive a Perfect Panda Gift Set. Our goal this year is to sell $2000 which would give our school a 50% product commission! That buys a lot of books for our library. Payment methods are cash or cheque.
