Bully Awareness Day
The tradition began in Nova Scotia by two remarkable high school boys. They did not ignore the bullying of a new grade 9 student but instead distributed pink shirts to all the boys in their high school in support of this grade 9 student. With this overwhelming show of support, the bullies backed off.
During our pep rally, we were treated to an amazing dance performance and a slide show created by one of our own grade 8 students both promoting bully awareness.

Grade 6 Floor Hockey Tournament
The Grade 6 class, along with support from a few Grade 5s, traveled to Meadow Lake today for their annual hockey tournament. The girls' team took home bronze winning most of their games (losing only to Goodsoil in the first game). The boys also played very well and also won bronze. Both teams showed great enthusiasm, team spirit and sportsmanship making their school proud! Thanks to all the parents who came out to help coach.
